Senior station officer Craig Houlahan said the brigade responded to four burn-offs between the hours of 6pm and 11.59pm on Good Friday.
He said crews were called to properties in Ascot, Jackass Flat, Maiden Gully and Epsom.
“The fire season is still in play and the only fires that are allowable are those for either cooking or for heating,” Mr Houlahan said.
“The fire is to be no greater than one square metre.”
Further details about what is, and is not, allowed during the fire danger period are published on the Country Fire Authority website and in the document below.
The fire danger period ends on April 18 in the Greater Bendigo, Macedon Ranges, Mansfield, Mitchell, Mount Alexander, and Northern Grampians districts.
Restrictions have been lifted in the Central Goldfields district.
