With almost 600 members from around the country, it will be the symphony orchestra’s will perform its first ever Bendigo concert.
The April performance will benefit The OTIS Foundation, a national breast cancer charity which was established in and continues its operations from Bendigo.
More than 80 performers are expected to take part in the performance.
Event organiser and Bendigo-based Orthopaedic surgical specialist Travis Perera said it was a unique event.
“There is no doubt this will be a brilliant concert and one that we are fortunate enough to have presented here in Bendigo,” Dr Perera said.
“It will be conducted by internationally acclaimed conductor Warwick Stengårds and feature talented cellist Michael Dahlenburg.”
