The event, now in its 44th year, saw 18 senior teams and 18 junior teams compete.
Mandurang Fire Brigade president Graeme Pearce said all the competitors displayed a great team spirit.
“(We’re) very pleased, it was a very successful day,” Mr Pearce said.
In the aggregates, Mandurang came second in both the A and B senior divisions, behind Beazley’s Bridge and Huntly respectively, with Millbrook coming third in both.
In the two junior divisions Stuart Mill and Sedgwick took out first place, followed by Millbrook and Sedgwick’s second team in second place, and Axe Creek and Stuart Mill in third.
The championship was started after Mr Pearce’s late brother Colin, a member of Mandurang Fire Brigade, was killed in a motorcycle crash.
Their late parents built the brigade a running track to train on in their son’s memory, and when it was completed Mandurang invited other local brigades to join in officially opening it.
Mr Pearce said that event was so successful the brigades asked for it to become an annual occasion, and that is exactly what happened.
