And just like last year, the Blowies defeated Goornong at Elmore to win the flag on Saturday, prevailing in the grand final by 40 runs.
Having been sent into bat, Dingee compiled 9-156 off its 40 overs.
Opener Kyle Patten, who loomed as one of the grand final X-factors, top-scored for the Blowies with 37 and was part of a 41-run opening stand with skipper Darran Lawry (8).
The Blowies also featured contributions from Rodney Ellis (31), Brad Wickham (20 n.o.) and Ken Bell (19).
Tyler McNamara (3-26) was the leading wicket-taker for Goornong, which also had skipper Dylan McNamara (2-32) take two scalps.
In reply, the Mountain Goats battled their way to 8-116, doing well to bat out their 40 overs after they had been on the ropes at 6-28.
Scott Lawry (3-16) took three of the early wickets for the Blowies, while Bell (2-13) and man of the match Ellis (2-37) ended the innings with two wickets apiece.
Batting at No.7, Goornong’s Charles Trotman made the game’s highest score of 50 and shared in a 58-run partnership for the eighth wicket with Dylan McNamara (19 n.o.) that delayed the Blowies’ premiership celebrations.
