A HARDING medallist and premiership-winning captain with Bridgewater Football-Netball Club, Zeb Broadbent won the latest heat in the Tuesday Night Series run by Flack Advisory Bendigo Region.

In his first race of 2017, Broadbent charged to an impressive victory in the 3000m event at the Latrobe University Bendigo athletics complex.
The gun midfielder from the Mean Machine crossed the line in just over 11 minutes ahead of long-time athlete Rick Ermel from Bendigo Harriers.
Many of the regular competitors in the Tuesday Night series took a break to focus on racing in this Saturday night’s Richard Kitt Memorial 1500m at the Bendigo International Madison carnival.
