For every bear that ever there was, (in the prep classes, at least), was gathered at the lower oval for a picnic.
There were big, fluffy bears and snake-like stuffed creatures.
The timeless Minnie Mouse made an appearance, as did popular Pokemon character Pikachu.

Prep teacher Amy Poulton said the almost 60 students had opportunities to create their own teddy bear ears and patterned picnic rugs, and to partake in activities.

Ms Poulton said the children had been learning a song about the teddy bears’ picnic, and had been bringing their teddies with them to school all week.

The school has three prep grades this year.
