The feature event of the night is the GRV Vic Bred staying series over 660m, and promising duo Dewana Dimie and Spirited Rose look set to stage a great battle.
Dewana Dimie, a recent Group 1 finalist, scored an emphatic 11-length heat win last start in 37.84 and has drawn box two in the final, while Spirited Rose posted 38.19 in taking out her heat and she has drawn box six.
With the box draw advantage Dewana Dimie will be sent to the start as the punters elect and looks the winner, but she will have to make sure she does everything right to claim the $5000 first prize.
Chevsta will be looking to continuing on his winning way when he steps out in the Chasers Function Centre sprint.
Carrying the pink rug last start Chevsta scored an impressive all the way 29.61 Sandown victory and he has the same draw on Friday night, which looks ideal.
Another greyhound in terrific form is Hally Allen, who looks the best bet on the night after drawing box one in the Bendigo Advertiser dash over the 425m trip.
Posting 22.35 in a recent Geelong victory, Hally Allen has won six of her 18 career starts to date with some fast times on her resume, and from the inside draw she should find the front early and prove too slick in the eight event of the night.
