GTM organisers are in the process of setting up a ticket re-sale facility with Moshtix.
The facility will be the official place for people who can no longer attend the festival to re-sell their tickets.
A post on GTM’s Facebook page urged music fans and ticket holders to avoid using third party sites to get tickets.
“Please be wary of purchasing tickets from a (third) party such as eBay, Gumtree, Viagogo etc as we cannot guarantee the legitimacy of these tickets,” the statement said.
The Bendigo leg of GTM sold out less than hour after going on sale on at 9am on Wednesday.
Facebook users reported seeing tickets for sale at prices ranging from $350 to $500.
