East and South will play their round 13 division one weekend pennant match on Friday, February 17, from 6.30pm at Bendigo East.
The match will also be a fund-raiser for Give Me 5 For Kids and feature Triple M Bendigo breakfast hosts Cogho and Ez playing each other in a game of barefoot bowls from 5pm.
“We think it will be a good promotion for lawn bowls, but it’s also a really good opportunity to raise money for Give Me 5 For Kids,” Bendigo East president Tom Lester said on Thursday.
“We’ll have a BBQ before the game and music, so we think it should be a really good night.”
The two clubs are planning to make the Friday night match under lights an annual event, with the host venue alternating each year.
