Outdoor performances in Bendigo parks are set for every Friday night in February.
The music program was kicked off by songwriter Graciana Holland and followed by alternative rock group Four Lions.
Four Lions frontman Shann Lions said program is a great initiative.
“It is a really great initiative from the City of Greater Bendigo. When we were asked to play we were quite chuffed about that,” he said.
“Crooks Street always seems like its the premier venue for Summer in Parks. It was great to watch last year, so when we were asked to play we knew it would be a fantastic thing to do.
“It is a pretty inclusive evening with everyone from different suburbs coming together as community and enjoying the music.”
The next music in the parks session is in Canterbury Gardens in Eaglehawk on February 10. It features bands Animal Time and The Grinners.
