The championships on the Loddon River are being held by the Bridgewater Water Ski Club for the fifth time, with the event attracting competitors from across the country aiming for scores to qualify for the Moomba Masters in Melbourne in March.
The championships will feature trick, slalom and jumps skiing.
The championships begin at 10am Thursday with trick skiing, followed by competitions for entrants with disabilities, then jumps.
The three disabled athletes include Jason Sleep, who is in contention to break a world record.
Friday’s schedule includes slalom and trick skiing, before the championships end on Saturday with slalom and jumps skiing.
It’s expected about 70 skiers ranging from aged nine to 65 will compete in what promises to be an action-packed three days.
