LONG GULLY: The sound of smashing glass woke a Long Gully resident in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Upon investigation, the Wells Street resident noticed a bedroom window had been smashed.
A car was seen to take off down the street straight after, but no description was provided to police. The victim did not know what sort of object was used to cause the damage.
The incident occurred at 4.30am.
STRATHDALE: A lawn bowler was the victim of a theft earlier this week.
Between 6pm on Sunday and 5pm on Monday, an unknown offender stole a lawn bowls bag, bowling shoes and a jacket from a car parked in a driveway in Woodbury Street, Strathdale.
The items were valued at $780.
The victim told police the car was locked at the time.
