A dozen athletes contested the 3000m race at the Latrobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Flora Hill.
For several in the field it was their final hit-out leading into Thursday’s start of the Athletics Victoria country championships at Cranbourne’s Casey Fields.
Fastest female honours went to Anne Buckley from Bendigo Harriers.
A 5000m race will be run next Tuesday at LUBAC in Retreat Road from 7pm.
