Castlemaine’s Rod Phillips dominated Sunday’s finals of the Bendigo Bowls Division men’s Champion of Champions.

Phillips bowled superbly to defeat Marong’s Darren Marshall 25-12 in the grand final.
Phillips will now represent Bendigo Bowls Division in the region finals next month in Bendigo.
Earlier in the day, Phillips thumped North Bendigo’s Barry Hogan 26-13 in the semi-finals.
Marshall edged out Bendigo’s Damian Mason 25-24 in a thrilling semi-final.
The state mixed pairs were also played on Sunday.
Bendigo’s Andrew Brown and Amelia Bruggy and Eaglehawk’s Con and Jenny O’Shea advanced to next week’s final.
Quarter-final results – T. Russell/S. Priest (Bendigo) defeated N. and J. Belt (Bendigo) 22-13; A. Brown/A. Bruggy (Bendigo) defeated P. and I. Godkin (Eaglehawk) 23-9; B. Morley/L. Harris (Bendigo) defeated M. Watts/J. Robertson (Composite) 17-16. C. and J. O'Shea bye
Semi-finals – Brown/Bruggy defeated Russell/Priest 22-6; C. and J. O'Shea defeated B. Morley/L. Harris 18-17.
The final is next Sunday at North Bendigo from 9.30am.
