Founding member Lukas Bellesini said the group started rehearsals this week and plans to bring a tight show to Bendigo.
“This might be the first Bendigo show we have done, so hopefully we see some new faces at the gig,” he said.
“We have got a lot of regional shows in South Australia and Tasmania as well.”
Justice Crew won the 2010 season of Australia’s Got Talent, beating out three other dance troupes along the way.
They will arrive at Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre on January 20 – the same day its new single, Pop Dat Buckle, is released on CD.
Pop Dat Buckle is out already on iTunes and Spotify but the physical single release is sure to be popular with fans after the show.
“It’s a big party track and we have had good feedback, which is always nice to get,” Lukas said.
“We will be doing a lot of signings of singles after the show too. It’s always good to have one on one time with fans.
“There are so many city shows but we enjoy reaching out and going to regional audiences.”
Justice Crew have promised to bring a high energy show on tour that will also see some lucky fans getting the chance to dance with the boys on stage.
“Make sure you do stretch before you come because we are all going to be jumping around,” Lukas said.
“There is also a bit of dance segment with people from the crowd and that is something that brings the atmosphere and the crowd up to another level.
“If we walk away being exhausted from the amount of energy we have used, we feel so much more satisfied.”
Since winning Australia’s Got Talent, Lukas said the boys have been taking each opportunity as it comes.
“Australia’s Got Talent was on opportunity and we took it head on,” he said.
“After we won that other doors open and instead of dancing to other people’s songs we thought we would like to dance to our own.
“Since then we have had two number one hits and it has been a whirlwind.”
This year will also see Justice Crew returning briefly to the studio to finalise and EP to accompany their new single.
“We’re still in and out of studio. The more songs we record, the more of a profile we can build,” Lukas said.
“We do a fair bit of writing if we have got a good idea. But if something doesn’t need changing, we just put our flavour on top of it.”
