In the round she played her 100th WNBL match for the Spirit, Griffin earned player of the week honours and was named to the WNBL team of the week.
Griffin inspired her team to a 2-0 record for the round.
In her 100th game, Griffin tore the Perth Lynx apart. She scored 31 points on 11-18 shooting and she collected eight rebounds. 21 of her 31 points came in the second half as the Spirit put the Lynx away 84-71.
In the second leg of the road double, Griffin scorched the Adelaide Lighting early on and then enjoyed a rest for much of the second half.
She finished with 10 points, eight boards, four assists and three steals in just 23 minutes as the Spirit won comfortably 74-51.
Griffin was joined in the team of the week by Perth’s Sami Whitcomb, Sydney Uni’s Asia Taylor and Canberra duo Kate Gaze and Mikaela Reuf.
The Spirit (7-3) play Sydney Uni (4-3) in Sydney this Friday night and are at home to Adelaide (0-8) on Sunday afternoon.
