A field of 20 pairs hit the fairways to play for the gobbling turkey trophy. Lily and Ava Franklin took out the five-hole competition with a 34-18-16, one shot in front of second place Thomas Chisholm and his mother Marita 32-15-17. They were second on a countback from Ryder and Russel Marriott 27-10-17 and Evan and Nathan Weston 27-10-17. Evan and Nathan also claimed the nearest to pin.
Evan Weston took out the 2016 Frank and Lois Burrows perpetual trophy with a season score of 75 points, just ahead of the fast closing Shanae Aisbett (73).
Third place went to Jazy Roberts (72) ahead of Tyson Aisbett (69), Dylan Weston (65), Tom Roberts (64), Ethan Hafkamp, Ryder Marriott and Declan Todhunter (54), Morten Hafkamp (53), Archie Alston (52), Jordan Alston (51), Cody Alston (46), Declan McGowan (44), Paddy McGowan and Ava Franklin (43), Alex Sjaardema (34), Anderson Price Brown (30), Elyssa Amor (27), Milla Franklin (19), Ted Spark and Thomas Chisholm (21), Emma Smeelie (12), Daniel Chisholm (11), Billy Spark (7).
Ava Franklin picked up the most improved title and Cody Alston the junior helper award. The junior program resumes with the summer season in early November.
