The East Bendigo Swimming Club pair were among a contingent of 19 swimmers representing the club at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Jordan claimed silver in the boys 14-years 200m breaststroke in a time of 2.25.85.
He then backed up that performance by bringing home the bronze medal in the boys 14-years 100m breaststroke event.
“Cameron has trained very hard and deserves every bit of success he has," said coach Chris Geyer.
"He also claimed the club and district records in the process.”
Talented multi-class swimmer Pizzo had a frustrating run throughout the championships, just missing the medals in her previous five swims before finally grabbing bronze in her final swim of the meeting, the women’s 50m backstroke.
Pizzo slashed more than two seconds off her previous best time to finish in a time of 51.50.
“It was a great effort by Kat, swimming six personal best times and coming home with a bronze medal at her first Victorian Short Course Championships,” said coach Anne Sherman.
“Her main focus now, is to qualify for an additional three events at the January 2017 Victorian Country Championships.”
Kate Jordan and Layla Day also finished as top 10 finalists.
It’s been a successful past month for the club with April Downing, Veda Haines, Emily Evans and Nicholas Kearns all winning their respective age group’s at the strong Ballarat Top 5 series.
The club also won the Stables-Evely Trophy, awarded to the club with the highest point score at the Eaglehawk Winter Series held at Peter Krenz Leisure Centre over the winter months.
