Tickets to the performance will cost students just $5 as the MSO performs its production of Peter and the Wolf October 12 at 10am.
Peter and the Wolf tells the story of a determined boy (Peter) with a thirst for adventure. He wants to stare into the eyes of the thing that scares him the most – a wolf.
The MSO production of the classic piece includes both orchestra and narration and is the perfect introduction to an orchestra for kindergarten to Grade 4 students.
The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will also be performing works by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Haydn at Ulumbarra on Tuesday, October 11, at 8pm.
Brett Kelly will conduct the orchestra with solos coming from Sophie Rowell and Christopher Cartlidge.
MSO performs Peter at the Wolf at Ulumbarra on Wednesday, October 12. Tickets are $5 and can be booked through The Capital’s box office.
