The team, while only small in numbers compared to a number of the bigger Melbourne-based clubs, won a host of medals at the recent Victorian Aerobic Gymnastic Championships held in Melbourne.
The team is coached by Sally Moore and includes Ruby Conti-Moore and Ana Karamaloudis, who both won state titles.
“I couldn’t be more prouder of all the girls. They are incredibly strong and consistent and very supportive of each other,” Moore said this week.

Ana Karamaloudis – champion in level three minis.
Aerodance team – second.
Women’s trio (Alessia McCaig, Tahlia Sims and Amelia Cartledge-Moore) – second in level four intermediate.
Ella Nicoll-Carr – fourth in level three intermediate women.
Amelia Cartledge-Moore – fifth in level four intermediate women.
Jemima Brown – sixth in level five senior women.
Imogen Mason – sixth in level three minis.
Aleissa McCaig and Tahlia Sims – eighth in level four intermediate women.
Palmer’s Gym has Ruby Conti-Moore, Alessia McCaig, Amelia Cartledge-Moore and Tahlia Sims competing for Victoria at the Australian Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in Bendigo.
The Australian Aerobic Gymnastics Championships will be held in conjunction with the National Clubs Carnival.
The National Clubs Carnival starts on Thursday and will run until Sunday, September 25, at the Bendigo Stadium, Ulumbarra Theatre and Flora Hill Indoor Sports Centre.
Day one on Thursday will feature women’s artistic gymnastics at the Bendigo Stadium from 10.30am.
The carnival features aerobics, teamgym, artistic, rhythmic, trampoline and acrobatic gymnastics.
The Australian Aerobic Gymnastics Championships will be held from Friday to Monday.
The opening ceremony on Friday at the Bendigo Stadium will feature a display from Bendigo’s Belle Etudes, followed by the men’s artistic gymnastics junior international trial.
In total across 11 days of competition in Bendigo will be 129 sessions.
