The Grasshoppers defeated Noth Bendigo by 11 goals in Saturday's preliminary final at Elmore.
Their 43-32 victory was the Grasshoppers' seventh straight win over the Bulldogs in the past two seasons, a streak that includes last year's grand final.
The victory sets up a grand final showdown against White Hills next Saturday at Huntly.
Colbinabbin is yet to bet the Demons in three attempts this season, their most recent loss coming in their qualifying two weeks ago.
The Grasshoppers were well served in their preliminary final win by 2015 league medallist and coach Liz Cobbledick at goal attack and midcourters Olivia McEvoy and Jess Geary.
A defence led by Bridie Lawford and Louise Dupuy did well to restrict the Bulldogs to 32 goals.
