That’s how long it has been since the Bulls last won a final in the NCFL, and they certainly haven’t been starved of chances.
On Saturday they will take on Donald at Charlton Park in a cut-throat first semi-final from 2.30pm.
The Bulls are carrying a hoodoo of seven-straight finals losses, having not won a final since beating Charlton by 25 points in the 2008 first semi-final.
Since then they have lost the:
• 2008 preliminary final to Boort by 45 points;
• 2009 second semi-final to Donald by 14 points;
• 2009 preliminary final to Charlton by 7 points;
• 2012 second semi-final to Wedderburn by 88 points;
• 2012 preliminary final to St Arnaud by 47 points;
• 2014 first semi-final to St Arnaud by 99 points; and
• 2015 first semi-final to Donald by 4 points.
The Bulls and Royals have split their two meetings 1-1 this season.
