Some of the computers the society was using dated from the mid-1990s, but recently the organisation was able to cheaply purchase more modern machines that had been used in a call centre.
“The extra screens are much bigger and clearer so we are able to replace the smaller screens that some of our volunteers had problems with,” volunteer Tony Stidwell said.
The computers were purchased from Mortgage Choice Bendigo and president Jannyse Williams said they “made life a lot easier for everyone”.
