Tributes continue to flow on social media for a father who was killed in a tragic accident on Christmas Eve in Kangaroo Flat.
The 25-year-old, of Huntly, a suburb of Bendigo, was standing in the car park of a factory on Phillips Drive, when he was hit by the 4WD about 7.30pm.
Jenelle Nankervis described the deceased as a “gentle giant” who was loved by many.
“A very rare genuine young man, husband and daddy taken all too soon,” she said.
Tanya Mallia described the 25-year-old as a lovely man with a beautiful heart and soul.
“So sad to hear this news. R.I.P, big fella, you will sadly be missed. My heart goes out to the family,” she wrote.
Ash Daxton said he was absolutely devastated.
“The kindest man who has always been there for us. You'll never be forgotten mate,” he wrote.
Many others offered their sympathies to those affected by the tragedy.
Police are continuing investigations and have spoken to the driver of the Nissan 4WD, a 28-year-old man of Big Hill, who was not injured.
