Australian man Joshua Terelinck has been sentenced to a jail term of two months and 15 days for causing the death of an Indonesian man in a motorcycle accident in Bali this year.

He will be released from Bali's Kerobokan jail on December 22 given the sentence was minus time already served in detention.
The victim's father had testified that Terelinck had already compensated the family 55 million Rupiah (about $5600) for his son's death and the family considered "things as finished".
Both Terelinck and the prosecutor accepted the sentence, with Terelinck breaking into a smile after Denpasar District Court was adjourned on Wednesday.
"Honestly, I'm happy with the outcome for a tough situation," he said outside court. "I just want to process what has happened."
Asked how he felt about being released within a week, Terelinck said he "can't be happier", adding that he urged Australian motorcyclists in Bali to be careful.
The court had earlier heard the victim had died seven days after the accident in North Kuta on July 9, following surgery to remove a blood clot on his brain.
The indictment said Terelinck was lost and travelling about 40-50 kilometres an hour when he crashed into the victim at 2am, throwing him into the gutter.
The panel of judges found Terelinck "convincingly guilty" of negligently causing the death of a person in a traffic accident.
Judge Wayan Sukanila said Terelinck made no effort to comprehend the traffic situation at the time of the crash.
However he said Terelinck had been polite in court, admitted his guilt and was remorseful.
Judge Sukanila also said Terelinck had settled with the family and returned to Indonesia from Australia to face the charges.
"The family were already willing to let the death of their son go in peace. They even asked for the defendant to be given the lightest sentence," he said.
Terelinck thanked his lawyer, Erwin Siregar, for supporting him from the "very very beginning".
"All through being in prison, he brought me everything I needed and is here until the very end," he said
Mr Siregar said: "I'm very happy Josh can go home before Christmas".
