“The weather has been very kind so the site is looking green and everything is getting put up on time,” Elmore Events Centre administrator Sam Shotton said.
Marquees are beginning to cover the site and machinery will begin to roll in later this week.
Ms Shotton said businesses and individuals were still calling up with requests for exhibitor’s sites, despite all sites being filled by July.
“People still want to have a place here. That shows the demand of people who want to show in this event.”
Ms Shotton said the event had suffered one setback, after the Australian Farmer of the Year cancelled its roadshow.
But the show must go on.
“We’ve got a couple of hectic days ahead,” Ms Shotton said.
“I’d like to think of it as organised chaos. “The place will be transformed afterwards.”
