Both will bat in the top-order for the Vics at the Championships, which will be contested from February 20 to 28.
For the pair – who have regularly played in Bendigo and Northern Rivers representative teams together, and were also born just one day apart in October, 2000 – it will be both their first times playing for Victoria Country.
Keighran, who goes to Bendigo South East College, plays for Golden Square in the under-18s and has spent the past three games as part of the first XI team.
Catholic College Bendigo student Vlaeminck plays under-18s and second XI with Strathdale-Maristians.
The pair are among three Northern Rivers players in the Victoria Country 15-Under team, with Moama’s Todd Murphy also earning a berth.
As well as the School Sport Australia Cricket Championships, the trio have also just been picked to represent the Northern Rivers under-16 squad at the upcoming state championships, while they have also been given invitations to train with the Melbourne Cricket Club in what’s going to be a hectic summer.
