A car fire at Bendigo McDonalds this morning threatened to reach other vehicles in the car park before CFA crews controlled the blaze.

The fire started in a Ford panel van at the High St franchise about 9.45am.
Firefighters attended and were forced to use breathing apparatuses to enter the car and extinguish the fire.
A CFA spokesman said the fire started under the bonnet and came close to the LPG tank but was contained.
Patrons were kept inside McDonalds during the fire over safety concerns. The fire was declared under control about 10.15am.
