Eastman prepared filly Morton Plains to score a dominant victory in the $30,000 Group Three Redcliffe Oaks.
Driven by John Cremin, Morton Plains sped straight to the front from gate one and never looked like being headed.
Morton Plains had previously won the Group One Vicbred Super Series Final this campaign and was placed in the Group One Queensland Oaks.
Meanwhile, the Kiwis dominated Sunday’s Redwood Classic day at Maryborough.
Master trainer-driver Mark Purdon took out the Group One Redwood Classic with smart two-year-old High Gait.
The Josh Dickie-trained and driven Speeding Spur couldn’t have been more impressive in winning the Group One Victoria Trotters Derby by more than seven metres from Blue Sky Commander.
