Harrington, a member of the Spirit's inaugural season, will re-join the club after having stints with Adelaide Lightening, Bulleen Boomers and the AIS.
The 23-year-old said she was excited to be back at the club where it all started.
"I love Bendigo and I have always had a soft spot for the Spirit," Harrington said.
The talented point guard was a member of the Australian under-19 team in 2009 and 2011.
She has also been a member of the Bendigo Lady Braves for the past two seasons.
“Bendigo is a great place to live, and to be able to play here in the WNBL is a dream come true,” Harrington said.
“I have seen what Simon Pritchard (Bendigo Spirit coach) wants to do, and have spoken a lot with the other girls over the past few weeks, and there is a lot of positive support.
“They are really looking forward to getting out there and getting stuck in again, and that is what I love doing most.”
Coach Simon Pritchard said Harrington would fit in well at the Spirit.
“I have kept a close eye on her while she has been in Adelaide, and I have been really impressed by her work ethic,” he said.
“Her determination and will to win is something I have always admired, and her defensive skill is something that has made her stand out along her basketball career.”
