THE Bendigo leg of Groovin the Moo is off to a bright start.
Crowds poured into the Bendigo festival earlier than previous years with a number of up-and-coming acts putting on some great sets.
Buskers-turned-festival performers, The Pierce brothers, started off the show with a highly energetic set that got the crowd involved.
Punk rocker Ecca vandal continued the energy with her set.
Triple J unearthed band Fountaineer welcomed the growing crowds to Bendigo with a set that showcased the city's musical talents.
The Bendigo band drew a crowd too them with a short but impressive group of songs.
TKay Maizda also impressed with her brand of hip hop.
Audience numbers continued to swell in the Moolin Rouge with Harts and the Dancing Accountant kicking the show off under the big top.
The Dancing Accountant got crowds very excited when he ventured from the stage to the crowd with a bunch of crazy dance moves.
The Delta Riggs and Northlane also played good sets in the tent.
UK outfit Peace continued the show on the main stages at 1pm while DMA's did the same in the Moolin Rouge.
DMA's proved very popular and managed to quieten the crowd down for a singalong to their Hottest 100 hit Delete.
One Day and Saskwatch rounded out the morning session with some hip hop on the main stage and some soul sounds under the big top.
