Jessica Chapman, Marie-Claire Tchernomoroff and Patrick Tucker will perform in OZACT's 20th anniversary production of As You Like It on April 18 and 19 at the Castlemaine Botanic Gardens.
The cast has been touring Victoria, with this weekend's performance the last.
The play follows the story of Rosalind and Orlando who have been banished from court.
In fear of their lives, the pair seek sanctuary in the Forest of Arden. The pair eventually fall in love.
Ms Tchernomoroff, who lives in Bendigo, plays the role of Cecila - Rosalind's cousin who runs away with her to the forest.
The 26-year-old said she was looking forward to the performing in Castlemaine.
"There's nothing like coming home and doing a show," she said.
"It's really special to bring such a high class Shakespeare play to regional Victoria."
Ms Tchernomoroff said the play was a "silly, funny, exploration of love" and a must-see.
"It's such a fun way to spend an afternoon. This play really highlights how accessible Shakespeare is and it is of such a high quality performance," she said.
Ms Tchernomoroff said she has always had an interest in acting and was accepted into drama school in Ballarat. She said the support of her teachers at Bendigo Senior Secondary College helped her pursue her dream.
Director Bruce Widdop said the audience should bring a rug or cushion and escape to the Forest of Arden.
"This production is a wonderful introduction to Shakespeare, to OZACT's unique brand of outdoor production and to one of Victoria's most spectacular locations," he said.
The performances start at 3pm. Tickets cost $35 for adults, $30 for concession and $20 for children. To book visit, www.ozact.com or phone 0419 330 516.
It is possible to buy tickets on entry.
Entry to the Castlemaine Botanic Gardens is via Downes Road near the barbecue area.
