THe 29th running of the Bendigo Bank Dragon Mile drew athletes from near and far for the Easter Sunday classic.
Six races were contested in the lead-up to the Bendigo Advertiser-sponsored gala parade through the central business district.
Athletes started from near the Black Swan Hotel on Pall Mall and raced up to Alexandra Fountain and swung right for the climb at View Street.
After racing around the roundabout at the Rifle Brigade Hotel and QEO the pace increased on the descent.
The long straight on Pall Mall was a great test for all in the mile, 1609m, or the mini mile, 800m.
