Earlier in the week the 'ice' headlines centred on 'bush' football with allegations players as young as 14 were using the substance to enhance performance.

We can't accept a community where doctors, nurses, ambulance officers, health workers and security staff are facing violence and aggression from ice-affected patients.
Stories such as that of a nurse doing her best to assist a teenage girl seriously affected by ice who responds by trying to bite chunks from her arm brings a sharp focus to the seriousness of this issue.
It's clear something must be done.
The time for action is now.
