The despised outsider at 100-1, Written Dash stormed home from back in the field to win by a length.
“It’s absolutely fantastic for us, especially for (the owners) David and Pauline Barclay, who have been very supportive of me,’’ Curran said.
“They’ve bred themselves a Group winner which is sensational.”
Written Dash was coming off a seven week let-up and enjoyed the hot tempo set in front by short-priced favourite Sistonic.
The filly needed some luck at the top of the straight and jockey Dean Yendall found a passage through the field and Written Dash burst clear to win impressively.
It was the daughter of Written Tycoon’s third win from seven starts.
