The pair were at it again in Bendigo on Saturday, meeting dozens of fans at the grand opening of the Floor to Ceiling Homecentre on Strickland Road in East Bendigo.
While they were there to offer expert advice at Beaumont Tiles, it was their famous faces that most were after.
The Tasmanian-born tradies, aged 35 and 28, posed for photo after photo, sharing a laugh with their fans and signing tiles as a momento.
Shannon said there was nothing they enjoyed more than getting away from the city and exploring country Australia.
"We love it - we're just a couple of country blokes as well," he said.
"People in the country are just good people. They are always the friendliest.
"Country people are lucky as well, it's a lot cheaper to build out here so you can do a lot more with your house."
Shannon and Simon won the series after their renovated apartment sold for $1.9 million - a $435,000 profit.
Simon said they were still getting used to being noticed where ever they went, but it was flattering nonetheless.
"It's all a little weird," he said.
"We found it strange that people would just want to watch a show of us doing our jobs.
"But it's great that people seem to have really appreciated what we did on the show."
The brothers, now living in Sydney, spent two hours meeting their Bendigo fans at Beaumont Tiles as the line-up almost stretched out the door.
The new store opened on January 12 and also incorporates a Choices Flooring, Bendigo Bulk Commercial and Curtain Choice.
General manager Scott Mitchell said it was among the first stores of its kind in Australia.
"The days of standalone tile and carpet shops will soon be in the past," he said.
"This sort of concept is not commonly used at this stage.
"This part of Bendigo is the biggest growth area for retail such as ourselves."
Beaumont Tiles moved to the location having outgrown its Williamson Street outlet.
