A great day of bowls, which drew 16 Dragons to the Bendigo Bowls Club, was capped by the final between Klemke and Bendigo’s Troy Mansbridge.
In pool matches, Mansbridge beat Jayden Mathews, Charlie Manning defeated Lisa Trewarne, Todd Trewanre beat Liam Whittaker, Lachie Jones defeated Cohen Balnaves, Amelia Bruggy beat Luke Nemeth, and Klemke defeated Lachie Darroch.
Quarter-finals – Mitch Cole beat Isaac Lindrea, Troy Mansbridge defeated Charlie Manning, Todd Trewarne beat Lachie Jones, Dallan Klemke defeated Amelia Bruggy.
In the semi-finals action, Mansbridge beat Cole, and Klemke defeated Todd Trewarne.
In the final, Klemk beat a determined Mansbridge.
meanwhile, the Bendigo Dragons ruled the greens at Geelong Cement Bowls Club to win the annual junior squad challenge between the city's rising stars.
Play was fours and two-bowl triples.
