The traditional family Christmas feast tops off a great time.
Today I noticed in the window of an artist's studio this text: "For unto us a child is born"
This simple text reminded me of what Christmas is all about.
Commercialism prefers to call this season of Advent "the festive season".
Indeed it is good to party, feast, drink and be merry. Making big profits seems part of the deal.
Let us not forget Jesus Christ this Christmas; after all, it is His birthday that we are celebrating.
Then we can thank God for the gift of His precious son who was born in such humble circumstances.
Happy blessed Christmas.
