Young said the six-day Australian volleyball camp has seen the most talented players born in either 1999 or 2000 pushed to their limits.
"This is the best of the best," he said.
"It is the beginning of the Australian youth program and we are looking to form a squad that will then work for the next two years as we build up for the Asian championships in 2016."
Young said the young guns were put through a range of drills and matches throughout the camp.
"We have a guy here who is 213 centimeters tall and has only been playing for four weeks and then we have someone like Max Senica who has joined the team early and came to last years camp and is a structured program in Queensland.
"We are looking for a couple of Olympians in 10 years time."
Senica, 15, said the camp allowed him to improve his skills.
"It is a massive learning curve for me," he said.
"I get to see how everyone else is going and try to improve as much as I can and obviously the main aim is to develop my skills that are required to play in the Australian team."
