The meeting
Jacinta’s best friend Samara, who incidentally is also Kyle’s sister, invited Jacinta and Kyle to her house for drinks which was followed by a night out clubbing in Bendigo.
Jacinta and Kyle instantly connected and a bond was formed, with many fishing trips to the local fishing spot at Doaks Hole in Axedale later on.
Jacinta and Kyle dated for 12 months before Kyle popped the question.
The proposal
Kyle popped the question, on bended kneed, at Jacinta’s family home. Unfortunately the ring didn’t fit straight away as Jacinta had recently broken her arm and her fingers were swollen. They enjoyed a two-year engagement before the big day.
The wedding day
Civil celebrant Michael Anderson officiated at the ceremony which was held in the beautiful gardens of the historic Bendigo Pottery.
The reception followed in the Function Centre at the Bendigo Pottery, catered by Rob and staff from Goldfields Catering.
The reception was beautifully decorated with centre pieces provided by Miranda from Eternal Vase, with draped silk and fairy lights lining the ceiling rafters to create a fairytale atmosphere.
The bride and groom celebrated with 70 family and friends who travelled from the NT, SA, Queensland, Tasmania and south-east Victoria.
The WA couple were unable to attend as they were expecting their second child, who was born on the wedding day during the reception. Celebrations all round.
Trevor Williams, Jacinta’s uncle, performed the Master of Ceremonies duties with his witty sense of humor and vibrant charisma.
The night was well celebrated with plenty of drinking, dancing and special memories made. The bridal party had their hair and make-up done at Red Raven salon.
Jacinta was attended by her close friends Samantha Fuller as maid of honour and Samara Belz as bridesmaid.
The girls wore full-length, mushroom-coloured organza dresses from Miss Jayz. The bridal party carried silk flower bouquets from Mitchell Street Florist.
Kyle was attended by his good friend Adrian Martin as best man and his brother Tyson Belz as groomsman. The boys wore black three piece suits, ivory shirts and black ties.
The dress
The dress was by UK designer Sonsie by Veromia, an off the shoulder ivory full length tafetta gown and veil from Belles and Bows Bridal in Eaglehawk. Jacinta wore a diamante tiara complimented with diamond stud earrings and matching diamond pendant necklace.
The cake
The three-tier white chocolate raspberry swirl mud cake was from Cakewalk in Lyttleton Terrace, Bendigo. It was topped with ceramic hand-painted figurines of the groom sitting on the edge of the top cake dangling his fishing rod with a gold wedding ring and a bride standing on the bottom cake reaching up with her hand, depicting the couple’s passion for fishing.
The photographer
Samantha from Samantha Anne Photography. Jacinta and Samantha have been friends throughout primary and secondary school. Jacinta and Kyle had their bridal photos taken at the picturesque Campaspe River Reserve at Axedale.
The honeymoon
The happy couple spent a week at the Village Resort in the seaside town of Port Macquarie, NSW. The newlyweds enjoyed fishing, sightseeing and relaxing at the resort.
