Abbie Myers was the only Aussie to get through Monday’s final day of qualifying and advance to the main draw.
Myers will fly the flag for the locals alongside Viktorija Rajicic, Arina Rodionova, Kimberley Birrell, Alison Bai and Jessica Moore.
Myers had to win two matches on Monday to make the main draw.
She opened up with a comfortable 6-3, 6-4 win over Thailand's Varunya Wongteanchai.
Her second game against China's Yuxuan Zhang was far from comfortable.
Myers won the first set 6-4 before dropping the second set 6-1.
The teenager returned to her best form in the deciding set, taking it out 6-3.
Myers has a tough first round clash on Wednesday against seventh-seeded Russian Daria Gavrilova.
Queenslander Isabella Holland needed to defeat Sweden's Ellen Allgurin on Monday to qualify for the main draw, but she went down 6-1, 6-4.
The second of the Bendigo Pro Tour events has a stronger field than last week, with Japan’s Misa Eguchi the number one seed.
Ranked 130 in the world, Eguchi didn’t play the first event.
Her arrival has bumped last week’s winner Eri Hozumi from top seed to second seed.
Eguchi opens tournament two on Tuesday morning against Rajicic on court one.
Rajicic is 537 places behind Eguchi on the world rankings.
Japan fills five of the top six seeds for the tournament.
Fourth seed Nao Hibino is ranked 207 in the world, fifth seed Risa Ozaki, runner-up to Hozumi last week, is 220th in the world, and sixth seed Shuko Aoyama is 11 places further back on world rankings.
Sweden’s Rebecca Peterson is the only seeded player in the top six from outside of Japan.
Aoymama plays Alison Bai in the first round on Wednesday, with the winner to tackle the victor of the Jessica Moore-Erika Sema clash in the second round.
