Playing in division two against United at California Gully, Hutchinson and Davies shared in a 263-run stand for the seventh wicket.
The partnership was the highest for the seventh wicket in any grade during Golden Gully’s 15-year history in the EVCA.
Coming together with the Cobras 6-112, Hutchinson and Davies took the score to 375 before the partnership ended when Davies was dismissed.
Davies made 135, while Hutchinson finished with 145.
The previous seventh-wicket partnership record for the Cobras was the 92 Shaun O’Shea and Cameron Moore put on against Mandurang in division one last season.
Hutchinson’s 145 is the second highest score in Cobras’ history behind only Leigh Penrose’s 159 six years ago.
