CONGRATULATIONS to the team at The Woodhouse for taking out the overall award at last night's Golden Plate gala presentation.
What started as a dream for owners Paul and Danielle Pitcher to open a great Bendigo steakhouse and grill has become a culinary success story
What started as a dream for owners Paul and Danielle Pitcher to open a great Bendigo steakhouse and grill has become a culinary success story, with their Williamson Street restaurant winning widespread acclaim and reviews.
The Woodhouse has quickly become a favourite with locals, offering an outstanding dining experience in a warm and relaxed restaurant. Head of the judging panel for this year's awards, Kevin Moloney, was correct in saying The Woodhouse is a 'seriously professional restaurant in all aspects'. "The food is of a very high quality, the service equally so. There is an obvious passion in everything they do,'' he said.
Fortunately for central Victoria, the owners of The Woodhouse are not alone in being passionate about wanting to deliver great food and wine experiences. Other winners praised last night included The Malayan Orchid, Rocks On Rosalind, Cortille Cafe, Cambrian Hotel, Sim'R, Brougham Arms and the Bendigo Corner Store Cafe.
