The race is one of the longest paddling races, covering 404 kilometers, beginning in Yarrawonga and finishing in Swan Hill.
About 24 Bendigo paddlers have already registered to compete at the event, but Tony Misson is calling on more people to get involved.
"We want Bendigo residents to compete in the famous event catering from teenagers to people in their 80s," Misson said.
"We will be providing all the necessary equipment, safety gear, along with training and mentoring.”
Misson said participants would be able to join relay boats or paddle the full distance distance.
He said the group was also raising money for the YMCA, to donate or to get involved visit www.pozible.com/murrayriverpaddle
The Massive Murray Paddle will be held between November 24 and 28.
