POLICE are continuing to interview witnesses after a 19 year-old Talbot man was allegedly stabbed three times during an altercation at a Talbot residence at 2am on Sunday morning.

The man was allegedly attacked with a pocketknife and received lacerations to the back, side and stomach. He was released from Maryborough hospital later on Sunday morning.
He was treated with stitches.
Detective Senior Constable Matt Hayes said the altercation involved between six and eight people, and a 50 year-old man and 49 year-old woman were also injured during the incident.
Police have interviewed three males aged 28, 19 and 17 in relation to the incident, which occurred at Camp Street, Talbot.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
