The central Victorian resident has been secretary of the Golden City Netball Association for about 20 years.
He position involves many roles, from creating draws, to updating ladders and making sure the competition is running smoothly on game day - Ms Dixon does it all.
"It's a busy volunteer role but I enjoy it," she said.
"It's mainly the people that I volunteer alongside.
"Most of us have been there a long time."
Ms Dixon first got involved in the association when her daughter started playing netball in the 1990s.
She has coached, umpired and been part of the committee since 1999.
"I love netball," she said.
"I used to play.
"I love the atmosphere at the association and also the game."
Ms Dixon said she liked watching the young children develop their skills.
"We have some grade 3's and you get to watch them until their in grade 6," she said.
"You get to watch them grow up."
Ms Dixon said she would continue as secretary for "a few more years".
