Alarm stops teens after break-in

THREE teenagers have been caught by police while attempting to rob a recreational reserve at an Echuca sporting club.

Senior Constable Paul Kerkin said the alarm had been activated after the offenders, two aged 18 and one aged 19, kicked the door in.

"The police were called to the scene in the early hours of Wednesday morning and arrested three young men," he said.

"They have been released pending summons." Nothing was stolen from the club rooms.

"This just shows the importance of having an alarm so we can catch the offenders before they get away."
