Hosted by the Motorcycle Racing Club of Victoria, riders including current class leader Jay Rice will be competing at the event.
Ben Graham and Leigh Rice are also expected to take to the track.
Jay Rice said he hadn't competed in Heathcote before, but was happy his club was preparing the course.
“It should be a good, fun weekend,” he said.
“I want to try and get at least a class win and hopefully an outright win.
"It’s been a bit tough in the Cross Country as a few of other guys are going well, but we’ll see what happens."
On the same weekend, the club will also host a round of the Australian Off-Road Championships.
Motorcycling Racing Club of Victoria president Damien Milton said he was looking forward to the weekend.
“It’s going to be a good, open fast track, and we’ll be using a couple of dry creek beds, which will be a lot of fun for all the riders,” he said.
“Some of the final positions will be decided on the weekend in both competitions.
"It’s always a challenge to build a course to suit the upper echelons of Australian off-road riders as well as VORC riders."
Entries for rounds 12 and 13 of the Victorian championships close on September 3.
