The exhibition, titled Nature in the Dark, looks at the beauty of nature after it has been consumed by fire.
It is a collaboration between the Victorian National Parks Association and the university's centre for creative arts.
It features works adapted by 10 artists from across the state and raw footage from VNPA scientists.
Nature in the Dark curator and artist Jan Hendrik Bruggemeier said the exhibition purposefully returned to its roots - regional towns.
He said the VNPA did a study on the affects of bushfires on Victoria's plants and animals.
The exhibition includes two screens playing raw footage taken in human-less settings and another screen playing footage edited by the artists.
The exhibition will open on Thursday and run until October 5.
