Police are investigating a burglary at a Bendigo primary school in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Bendigo police Acting Sergeant Wayne Rowe said an alarm at White Hills Primary School on Plumridge Street was triggered about 2.20am on Saturday.
"They got into the office area and attempted to steal laptops but were disturbed by police and left," Acting Sergeant Rowe said.
"The investigation is ongoing."
He said it was unclear if any items had been stolen.
It is believed the offenders entered the school through an unlocked or open window.
